Sit Down Dinner

Yakima Enological Society is delighted to invite you to a “SIT DOWN DINNER”, on August 14th at 6:30 PM in the upstairs State Fair Room in the Sun Dome. This dinner is being prepared by Yakima ESD S.T.E.M.S Culinary Arts students. These students were taught by State Fair Park Executive Chef Sean McGuire and Nana Kate. The dinner will be paired with wines from Barrel Springs Winery out of Prosser WA. Owner/Manager Brandi Manuel and her husband Owner/wine maker Seve Manuel will join us to talk about their wines and winery. The meal will consist of Crostini with Red Pepper Coulis Chardonnay/Viognier blend-Chilled grape gazpacho and Summer Chopped salad with a vinaigrette dressing Albarino- Mushroom tarts with white balsamic glaze.BS Red blend – Roasted root vegetable, Cabernet – Mediterranean Stuffed chicken, Syrah- Princess Charlotte Mousse with drunken berries.
